Baby blue is one of those wonderful colours that need to be used in moderation. A little piece here, a little accessory there, and it's enough. Painting the walls with it hardly ever results in a cozy environment. It needs to be enveloped in warm whites, sweet pinks or bright yellows. It needs the softness of wood or the warmth of wicker. Only then the true fresh, breezy, summery qualities of this colour arise. That's how I like it.

I have always been into Thonet chairs, enamel and vintage looking floor tiles. I also find simple woven fabric rugs such as the one here perfect for summer homes.

The polka dot sheets with scalloped edges are so pretty. But it's really the blue cushions and pink stools that make the room! I want a star cushion, I guess it would be fairly easy to DIY.

What a cool entryway! The arrow pattern of the "Tapestry" wallpaper by Cavern, along with that basket, which makes me think a rattlesnake is nesting in it, really got me craving a few hours on the PS3 playing Red Dead Redemption.

This is a tiny studio apartment with only one room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a generous hallway. But Alvhem Makleri dressed it up so beautifully that it once again made me think too much room and stuff to make a place your own. In this listing I have found many ideas to copy for my own home, one of them being the rattan chest in the beautiful entryway seen above.
