Another pretty customization to those little plastic animals I mentioned before. Painting them white was nice but I'm partial to glitter in Christmastime!

I came across these easy-to-do ideas that look more chic than anything you can buy at the stores. Holiday decorating really brings out the creativity in some people!

This gift wrapping idea from Time of the Aquarius is just genius. Creating a plaid pattern with plain materials is so much better than any fancy wrapping paper. My favorite ones in the photo above are the striped ribbon on kraft paper, and bakers' twine on matte black paper.

Another great idea using kraft paper comes from Bugs and Fishes. You can print and cut out any font you like, and combine any two different papers you like, the possibilities are endless.

I think the Christmas Spirit has paid a visit to this summer house in Rageleje, Denmark, and warmed it up for the fierce winter with subtle, tasteful decorations. See, if you're living in a house as white as snow with a wood burning stove and gorgeous red chairs, your tree doesn't even need decorations; just leave it bare.

A few evergreen branches here, a couple of pine cones there, and just the right amount of string lights and candles are all you need. I like the idea of having a very small, simple tree and complementing it by putting branches in vases and baskets in the other corners of the room.

Woodland animals dipped in white are beautiful all year round. You can buy plastic animals to easily paint them and use them on table decorations, shelves, or mantles. I've been intending to do that for a while now, still haven't gotten around to it.

What a beautiful bedroom, and what a gorgeous mirror! I love how the exterior of the bedroom door is painted red. They have put up botanical prints all around the house, there is one in almost each photo.

Isn't the nursery just wonderful too? The rug, the wooden toys, the blue dresser... I don't think any kid would object to sleeping there, at least not those who were born to be stylish!

Preparing a modest breakfast table every morning, shining leather shoes, or bringing out the dustpan and the broom to clean the ashes from the stove... Finding peace in simple chores... You don't need a fairy godmother for that.

I currently don't have sound on my computer so I have no idea what she's talking about, but her home is amazeballs; it's almost exactly what I would want my office to look like, she owns one of the most stylish coffee pots I have ever seen, her clothes are so gorgeous, and if I ever saw her on the street I would steal her glasses.

Full length mirror; a must for any dressing room. These folks have mirrors aplenty and have stacked a few of them. In my dressing room, I currently have a smallish mirror resting on a shoe box for a little height. I'm yet to come across a full length mirror that I really like (and can afford). I had my eye on the white Hemnes mirror from Ikea but it's quality was of a fun house mirror, and not the slimming kind, so I had to pass.

Her giyinme odasının için olmazsa olmazı, boy aynaları. Bunlar bol bulmuş üst üste dizmişler, benim giyinme odamda ise yükseltmek amacıyla bir ayakkabı kutusunun üzerine yerleştirdiğim ufak bir ayna var. Hem beğendiğim, hem de bütçeyi aşmayan bir boy aynası henüz bulamadım. Ikea'daki beyaz Hemnes aynayı gözüme kestirmiştim ama mağazadakilerdeki yansımam lunapark aynalarındakilerden farksız olduğu için es geçmek zorunda kaldım. İlla da yanlış gösterecekse bari ince uzun göstersin, değil mi ama?

Closet envy. I love how there's a black board to pin inspiration photos. I know a lot of people put together moodboards for what they want to wear, so this is very practical.

Unlike every other woman, I have this strong dislike for polka dots. But these irregular dots are a whole other subject. They're like snow.
