DO add splash of color to your cabinets with shiny glazed ceramic bowls in bright colors for the candy effect.

Today is the second part of the ceramics for display cabinets and shelves post I did. This time I chose the kind of objects that when you see, you instantly adore, and will be a joy to look at everyday. You can combine these ones with the classical and basic ones and create focus. Another way to find special and original display things with a vintage-y feel is probably your local thrift stores, second hands shops, or Etsy. Here are some objects that I LOVE; they aren't vintage, but they are designed so beautifully that I'm sure they will be more valuable over time.

Hello Alis:
Just wanted to let you know that I tip-toed through your blog again. Although ceramics aren’t my cup-of-tea, so to speak; however I have to admit that your collection is very impressive.
When I visit someone’s blog, I like to leave a footprint to let you know that I was there, so this is my footprint!
And by the way, my daughter is a neighbor of yours. She lives with her husband in Abu Dhabi. He works for Conoco/Phillips.
Wishing you and yours a vary good day…….JD
