Light And Air and Smell of Fresh Flowers

Hava ve Işık ve Taze Çiçeklerin Kokusu

Guess what... This is one of the top 5 most beautiful houses I have ever seen. Everyday more reasons come up for me to fall in love with Sweden and the impeccable taste of the Swedes. This house inspired me to combine a bit of Google Translator, some image searching and some guessing to try to understand what these beautiful pictures are about. Enjoy!

I present you with the lovely home of Hanni and Steffen.
Oh, the stairs (I have never seen anything like it)... The random flower arrangements... The continuity of the light with the help of crisp white textures and clear glass... The vintage rocking horse! Forgive me if there isn't much text in this post, I am speechless!

Size Hanni ve Steffen'ın muhteşem evlerini takdim ediyorum.
Ah o merdivenler (görmedim ben böyle şey)! O rastgele hazırlanıp yerleştirilmiş vazolu çiçekler! Bembeyaz dokular ve camın saydamlığı sayesinde evde özgürce gezinen ışık! O eski sallanan at!

View from the kitchen to the dining room.
I love that there is a rack for non-kitchen objects. You could just grab the beautiful umbrella and the wicker cart to pick fresh flowers from the garden despite the rain.

Aging French table and chairs, Danish crystal chandelier, tall French shutters. It says in the article that the owners of the house like patina finishes a lot. I can relate, I love it too.

The garden shower is practical when returning from regular visits to the beach.

Kumsal dönüşleri için bahçedeki duş çok pratik.

The old, sea-colored chair serving as a bookshelf. Flowers from the garden. Again, I love how fresh flowers in glass vases are scattered randomly around the house, giving it life without being the focus.

Deniz renginde eski sandalye kitaplık görevini üstlenmiş. Çiçekler bahçeden. Cam vazolardaki taze çiçeklerin evin değişik noktalarına rastgele dağılmış olmaları fikri çok hoşuma gitti; odak noktası haline gelmeden eve hayat ve tazelik veriyorlar.

The small garden house has a ceiling covered with wistaria. I wish I could be there and smell it when it is in bloom! Hanni decorated the room with fresh roses from the garden. It has great view too, the window overlooks Öresund.

Hanni decorated this room as an enjoyable place for her grandchildren when they come to visit. Most of the toys are flea market finds. Is it me or are those cushions actually these from Ikea?

I love all-white houses...aren't they instantly calming? I'm working on bedroom ideas and don't know whether I should go for all white or perhaps introduce another color. Thanks for the inspiration!

Karina - thanks for commenting. amazing detailing on the stairs, huh?

Jen- The umbrella is something Chloe Sevigny would carry, isn't it?

Shatice Brown - you are too sweet. I'm happy that you show the courtesy to read my blog :)

Caroline - thank you, it's the ultimate girly gorgeous home.

Purple - thank you I am glad you enjoyed it.

deyneyleyaşamak - çok teşekkür ederim beğenmen beni çok mutlu etti :)

bandelle - I can't get enough of white houses either. I like the use of other color combinations too, but in the end I always come back to this all-white look, and I am never tired of looking at such serenity.
